Like so many of us, my photography journey started with my kids. I wanted to capture everything they did — every smile, every silly face, every moment that felt like magic. Tale as old as time, right?

But as my kids grew (and as I became a foster mom), I started to see things differently. I realized that it wasn’t just about taking the photos — it was about holding them in your hands, seeing them on your walls, and each person feeling that daily reminder: I belong here.

When I started, photography was all film — every photo became a print. Then, somewhere along the way, the world shifted to screens. Scroll, swipe, like… repeat. But printed portraits? They stop the scroll. They say, “You’re seen. You matter. You’re loved beyond any algorithm.”

Especially for our kids today, where identity feels like it’s built online, seeing their portrait on the wall tells them: You are part of this home. You’re cherished. You’re celebrated. That right there instills confidence and means more than "likes".

That fire in my soul to build confidence through portraits led me to push my art further. Because let’s be honest — no one wants boring photos collecting dust. You want statement pieces. You want your friends to walk in, do a double-take, and say, “Oh my gosh, that is STUNNING!”
So I started creating not just portraits, but art. Portraits that I paint over with oils to turn them into one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

Incredible photography, unforgettable art, and an experience that makes you feel like a million bucks — that’s my jam.

Beyond art? You’ll usually find me laughing with friends, sipping a good glass of wine, enjoying my family, and soaking up the moments that make life so beautifully messy and wonderful.
