 "About me" stuff is always a bit weird, isn't it? I'm guessing that you aren't wondering if I like long walks on the beach, so....

 

I'm a portrait photographer.

I'm a darkroom, alternative process loving artist.

I love to oil paint, watercolor paint and acrylic paint.

I love to sew on my art.

I love to meet people and laugh and make art that hangs in their homes.

I love to go from concept to final frame with you. (final frame of film or final frame of choosing the frame for your wall art...both. yes. all that!)

I love workshops and school and learning new ways to pose, to light, to paint, to create.

I love people. I was a DJ for over 20 years and I collected so much people watching hours that I bring that all into the studio when we have our session. I see you. I feel you. I got you. Now, let's have the best time.

OH....

And...yeah, I like walks on the beach. And hikes in the mountains. Did we just make vacation plans together?

If you're ONLY wondering what I know about photography, well,

I've spent WAY over a decade learning as much as I can. I haven't stopped. I take classes and workshops frequently. I push the limits endlessly. I've won some awards, I've gained some "titles" and I've created some really fun art. I'm a photographic craftsman, I'm a certified professional photographer.

Mostly, my art has lead me to meeting some of my greatest friends.
